Having both started cooking at a young age, our executive chefs Kim and Daniel have a combined experience of over 26 years in the hospitality industry. Their work experience includes various positions in the most celebrated restaurants on the planet, such as Per Se (New York), The French Laundry (Napa Valley), Alinea (Chicago) and El Bulli in Roses, Spain. Most recently, Kim and Daniel served on the executive management team at the three Michelin-Star rated restaurants “The Restaurant at Meadowood” in Napa Valley.

A native of the Sandhills of NC, Scott has been surrounded by the restaurant business his entire life. Scott comes to [ONE] after having worked for over fifteen years in the D.C. restaurant scene. While there, he worked at several critically acclaimed restaurants including Charlie Palmer Steak, Palena and Restaurant Nora.

WINE DIRECTOR/SOMMELIER

Sean was the assistant Wine Director and Sommelier for the renowned Spago Beverly Hills. Sean is a certified Sommelier, and is a candidate in the WSET Diploma program that has awarded him with his advanced WSET certificate. Sean arrived to Chapel Hill’s [ONE] restaurant in 2013 with an eagerness to share his passion for wine.
